2015 was a while ago and I was too busy to pay a lot of attention to new music. This popped up in my bandcamp feed… a remaster of and album by Lykhaeon on Fractions of Life Records.

Tanz der Entleibten roughly translates to “dance of the disembodied” and there are moments in this album that feel like you can dance to it.

It’s groovy, sometimes sweet and trails off into different directions throughout the album. It’s sometimes surprising and I forgot that I was listening to metal.

Also that cover is great. There was a vinyl pressing for this remaster, but it looks like they’re already gone. But you should still go check it out on bandcamp.

Be warned that the digital album is ‘name your price’ for €666 or $768.68 so you’ll REALLY have to like this one to buy it.
